(a) The commissioners court of a county may adopt this subchapter by an order made at a regular term of the court when all the members are present.(b) The commissioners court shall enter the order in its minutes. The order is not required to be in any particular form, and substantial compliance with this section is sufficient.(c) If the commissioners court adopts this subchapter, Subchapters B, C, and D do not apply to the county.
