A bond issued under this chapter, the transfer of and income from the bond, and any profit made in the sale of the bond is exempt from taxation by this state or a political subdivision of this state. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
