In this subchapter, 'freeway' means a municipal street for which the right of access to or from adjoining land has been acquired in whole or in part from the owners of the adjoining land by the governing body of a municipality. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
