§ 391.061

(a) A person commits an offense if the person wilfully erects or maintains a commercial sign in an area described by Section 391.031(a) without a license under this subchapter.(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $500 or more than $1,000.
