§ 394.051

(a) A person who is engaged primarily in the business of erecting signs that advertise companies located or products sold on the premises on which the signs are erected must file with the commission a surety bond in the amount of $100,000 or more payable to the commission to reimburse the commission for the cost of removing a sign unlawfully erected or maintained by the person.(b) The commission may not exempt a person from the requirements of Subsection (a).
