(a) The governing body may issue sign abatement revenue bonds.(b) The governing body may use the proceeds from the bonds only to compensate the owner of a sign required to be removed under this subchapter. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
