§ 451.503

(a) The mayor of the most populous municipality represented on a panel under Section 451.502 serves as the presiding officer of the panel.(b) The presiding officer shall, by giving written notice to each member, call a meeting of the panel as necessary to make an appointment. An appointment shall be made not later than the 60th day after the date a position becomes vacant, including the initial vacancy on the creation of the position.
