(a) Each member of the executive committee serves a term of two years except the initial terms of two members are for one year. The subsequent terms are staggered.(b) A vacancy on the committee may be filled by appointment of the governing body of the contiguous municipality. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
