§ 453.154

(a) If a majority of the votes received at the election favor the proposition, the board shall:(1) record the result in its minutes; and(2) adopt an order requiring implementation of the mass transit plan.(b) If a majority of the votes received at the election do not favor the proposition, the board shall:(1) record in its minutes an order declaring the result; and(2) dissolve the transit department as soon as practicable.(c) The board shall file a certified copy of an order under this section with the Texas Department of Transportation, with the comptroller, and in the deed records of the county.
