§ 460.057

(a) The interim executive committee shall notify the commissioners court of the need to call a confirmation election.(b) The commissioners court in ordering the confirmation election shall submit to the qualified voters in the county the following proposition:'Shall the creation of (name of authority) be confirmed?'(c) In addition to other information required by law, the notice of the election must include:(1) a brief description of the service plan; and(2) a statement that an imposition of a tax to pay for the service plan must be approved by the voters at a subsequent election.(d) The election must be held on a uniform election date.
