(a) A confirmation election shall be conducted so that the votes are separately tabulated and canvassed in order to show the results for:(1) each municipality located in the county that passed a resolution or order approving the service plan and tax rate; and(2) the qualified voters in the balance of the county.(b) The interim executive committee shall canvass the returns and declare the results of the election.
