§ 502.412

(a) A person commits an offense if the person operates, or permits to be operated, a motor vehicle registered under this chapter that has a weight greater than that stated in the person's application for registration. Each use of the vehicle is a separate offense.(b) Venue for a prosecution under this section is in any county in which the motor vehicle is operated with a gross weight greater than that stated in the person's application for registration.(c) Repealed by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1296, Sec. 247(7), eff.
