§ 502.471

(a) A person commits an offense if the person violates a provision of this chapter and no other penalty is prescribed for the violation.(b) This section does not apply to a violation of Section 502.003, 502.042, 502.197, or 502.431.(c) Unless otherwise specified, an offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $200.
