Text of subsection effective until July 01, 2025 (a) The fee for a metal dealer's license plate is $20 a year.Text of subsection effective on July 01, 2025(a) The fee for:(1) a dealer's license plate issued under Section 503.061 is $20 a year; and(2) a dealer's temporary license plate issued under Section 503.062 is $10.(b) The fee for a manufacturer's license plate is $40 a year.(c) The fee for an additional set of drive-a-way in-transit license plates is $5 a year.(d) A fee collected under this section shall be deposited to the credit of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles fund.
