(a) The department shall issue specialty license plates for:(1) volunteer firefighters certified by:(A) the Texas Commission on Fire Protection; or(B) the State Firemen's and Fire Marshals' Association of Texas; and(2) fire protection personnel as that term is defined by Section 419.021, Government Code.(b) A person may be issued not more than three sets of license plates.
