(a) In this section, 'construction or maintenance work zone' has the meaning assigned by Section 472.022.(b) An entity that sets a lower speed limit on a road or highway in the state highway system for a construction or maintenance work zone shall place or require to be placed a sign at the end of the zone that indicates the speed limit after the zone ends.
