An operator may not, without the consent of the fire department official in command, drive over an unprotected hose of a fire department if the hose is on a street or private driveway and is intended for use at a fire or alarm of fire. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
