A motor vehicle shall be equipped with:(1) front safety belts if safety belt anchorages were part of the manufacturer's original equipment on the vehicle; or(2) for a motor vehicle that is an assembled vehicle, as defined by Section 731.001, front safety belts in vehicles that contain safety belt anchorages.
