§ 548.403

(a) The department may approve an application for certification as an inspection station only if:(1) the location complies with department requirements; and(2) the applicant complies with department rules.(b) On approval of an application, the department shall issue to the applicant an inspection station certificate. The certificate is valid for each person in whose name the certificate is issued and for the transaction of business at the location designated in the certificate. A certificate is not assignable.(c) An inspection station certificate shall be conspicuously displayed at the station for which the certificate was issued. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
