A discharge in bankruptcy after a judgment is rendered relieves the judgment debtor from the requirements of this chapter, except for financial responsibility requirements arising after the date of the discharge. Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.
