The department by rule may provide for the temporary registration of an international motor carrier that provides evidence of insurance as required for a domestic motor carrier. The department may charge a fee for a temporary registration in an amount not to exceed the cost of administering this section. Added by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 30.150(a), eff.
