§ 644.152

(a) A person who does not permit an inspection authorized by Section 644.104 is liable to the state for a civil penalty in an amount not to exceed $1,000.(b) The attorney general may sue to collect the penalty in:(1) the county in which the violation is alleged to have occurred; or(2) Travis County.(c) The penalty provided by this section is in addition to the penalty provided by Section 644.151.(d) Each day a person refuses to permit an inspection described by Subsection (a) is a separate violation for purposes of imposing a penalty.
