Eligible projects As used in this subchapter, eligible project costs for water pollution abatement and control facilities projects shall include equipment, conveyances, and structural or nonstructural facilities needed for and appurtenant to the prevention, management, treatment, storage, or disposal of sewage, waste, or stormwater, and the associated costs, including planning and design costs, necessary to construct the improvements, including costs to acquire land for the project.
