Resignation of directors (a) A director may resign at any time by delivering written notice to the board of directors, its chair, or to the president or other officer responsible for recording the minutes of the meetings of the shareholders and directors of the corporation. (b) A resignation is effective when the notice is delivered unless the notice specifies a later effective date. (Added 1993, No. 85, § 2, eff. Jan. 1, 1994.)
