Proceedings to extend lien Within the five months during which real estate is held to satisfy an execution levied upon the same, the creditor shall cause a copy of his or her complaint, attested by the officer serving the same, to be recorded in the same office where the certified copy of the execution has been recorded. Such five months shall thereupon be extended until the end of such action, subject to the orders and decrees of the court therein.
