Trustee’s liability on refusal to deliver property When a trustee does not deliver personal property in his or her hands, when lawfully required by the officer serving the execution, he or she shall be liable to the plaintiff in the action for the value thereof, after deducting the amount, if any, of his or her lien, to be recovered in an action of tort on this statute.
