§ 2003

False tokens described The use of a matured check, or other order for the payment of money, as a means of obtaining from another person money or other property, or a release or discharge of a debt or obligation, or the signature of a person to a written instrument the false making whereof would be punishable as forgery, such as is specified in section 2002 of this title, by a person who knows that the drawer thereof is not entitled to draw for the sum specified therein upon the drawee, is the use of a false token within the meaning of section 2002 of this title, although representation is not made in respect thereto.
