Transferring chattel without notice of lien A person who sells or disposes of personal property, or causes the same to be sold or disposed of by another, upon which there is a lien created by a previous attachment or conditional sale, or upon which he or she has previously given a bill of sale, without giving notice to the purchaser of such lien or bill of sale, with intent to defraud, shall be imprisoned not more than one year or fined not more than $200.00, or both.
