Signing or issuing false certificates of stock A president or other officer or agent of a bank, railroad, manufacturing, or other corporation who willfully and designedly signs, with intent that it shall be issued or used, or causes to be issued or used, a false certificate or evidence of the ownership or transfer of shares of stock in such corporation, or a certificate or evidence of such ownership or transfer, that such officer has no authority to make or issue, shall be imprisoned not more than 10 years nor less than one year and fined not more than $1,000.00, or both.
