Costs (a) Recount committee members and assistants designated by the county clerk shall be paid by the State at the same per diem and mileage rates and according to the same procedures by which jurors are paid. (b)(1) These and other necessary expenses, as approved by the court, shall be paid by the State through the Court Administrator’s Office. (2) The Secretary of State shall bear the costs of recounts conducted under this subchapter and shall reimburse the Court Administrator’s Office. (Added 1985, No. 148 (Adj.
