Compulsory medical management If any person fails or refuses to comply with an order of the court issued under section 1057 of this title, the Commissioner of Health, in accordance with the order, may request any police officer or sheriff in writing to take the person into custody and immediately deliver the person to a place or facility for such services as designated by the Secretary of Human Services as provided in sections 1053 and 1055 of this title. The officer shall tender the person named in the order a copy of the order of the court and of the request to the officer to apprehend and deliver the person to the place of tuberculosis management, and shall make return of the officer’s doings to the court.
