Settlement and payment After receiving the notice provided for in section 23 of this title, the Agency with the approval of the Attorney General may adjust and settle with the person claiming damages, and the Commissioner of Finance and Management shall issue his or her warrant for payment. All money spent under this section shall be drawn from the Transportation Fund. (Added 1985, No. 269 (Adj. Sess.), § 1.)
