Hearings, where held; decision (a) If the compensation is not fixed by agreement, either party may apply to the Commissioner for hearing and award in the premises who shall set a time and place for hearing and give at least six days’ notice thereof to the parties. The hearing shall be held at a place designated by the Commissioner. No proposed findings of fact shall be required from the parties unless ordered by the Commissioner. If ordered, the proposed findings of fact shall be submitted within 30 days after conclusion of the hearing. (b) The decision may include abbreviated findings of fact or conclusions of law, or both, when appropriate. (Amended 1965, No. 194, § 10; 1977, No. 182 (Adj. Sess.), § 15, eff.
