Binders and renewal endorsements; binders of insurance An insurer authorized to issue automobile liability insurance may issue a binder, in lieu of a policy, and issue a renewal endorsement or evidence of renewal of an existing policy. Renewal endorsements and binders shall be deemed to include provisions in accordance with this subchapter and rules adopted in furtherance thereof. (Added 1967, No. 374 (Adj.
