Misuse of farm registration (a) A person shall not operate or move upon a highway a motor truck registered as a farm truck: (1) with a gross weight, including load and vehicle, exceeding the weight for which it is registered under section 367 of this title; or (2) for any purpose other than the transportation of agricultural products produced on, or materials to be used in connection with the operation of, a farm. (b) Any truck operated or moved in violation of this statute shall be required to be registered as a commercial truck and any person in violation of this section shall be assessed a civil penalty of not more than $175.00 for each offense.
