Selectboard; organization (a) Forthwith after their election and qualification, the Selectboard shall organize and elect a Chair, Vice Chair, and a Clerk by a majority vote of the entire Selectboard and file a certificate of such election for record in the office of the Town Clerk. (b) The Chair of the Selectboard, or in the Chair’s absence the Vice Chair, shall preside at all meetings of the Selectboard and shall be recognized as the head of the Town government for all ceremonial purposes. (c) The rules of conduct of all meetings shall be governed by 'Robert’s Rules of Order.' (Amended 2015, No. M-1, § 2, eff. Jan. 27, 2015.)
