The vote of the Town shall constitute the approval of the total amount of the budget. The Selectboard may reallocate the sums so approved within the budget to pay for expenditures in different amounts to the extent necessary to deal with unexpected or changed circumstances. If the approved budget proves to be insufficient to pay all of the Town’s expenses, the Selectboard may call a special Town meeting to vote on an increase to the budget.
