Applicability of State law to zoning and planning The Zoning Administrator under any Middlebury zoning ordinance or bylaw shall be appointed annually by the Selectboard after the annual meeting and shall serve for one year or until his or oher successor is appointed and qualified. All other matters pertaining to zoning, land subdivision, municipal and regional plans shall be exclusively controlled by the statutes of the State of Vermont, except as specifically provided in this charter.
