Filling of a vacancy Any vacancy in the Office of Town Manager shall be filled as soon as practicable by the Selectboard, and, in pending such appointment or in case of the Town Manager’s absence or disability, the Selectboard may designate some person to perform the duties of the Office. In no case shall a member of the Selectboard assume the duties of Town Manager. (Amended 2021, No. M-16 (Adj. Sess.), § 2, eff. May 31, 2022.)
