Organization (a) Forthwith after their election and qualification, the Selectboard shall organize and elect a Chair and Vice Chair by a majority vote of the entire Board and file a certificate of such election for record in the office of the Town Clerk. (b) The Chair of the Board, or in his or her absence the Vice Chair, shall preside at all meetings of the Board and shall be recognized as the head of the Town government for all ceremonial purposes.
