This document is drafted to update and replace the existing charter.(b) Application of general laws. (1) Except when modified by the provisions of this charter, or by any regulation or ordinance of the Town, all statutes of the State of Vermont relating to municipalities shall apply to the Town of Springfield. (2) In the event of any conflict or contradiction, either direct or implied, between the powers conferred in this charter and State statute, this charter shall prevail. (Amended 2021, No. M-13 (Adj.
