City Court There may be holden in said City, from time to time, as occasion arises, a City Court, which shall be a court of record, presided over by a justice of the peace who shall be designated by the City Council as judge thereof; of which court the City Clerk shall be the Clerk. Said Court shall have the same jurisdiction and powers within said City as justices of the peace now have and shall be subject to and governed by all statutes relating to courts of justices of the peace.
