§ 406. Ordinance; enforcement (a) The violation of an ordinance, regulation, or bylaw adopted by the City, including zoning and subdivision bylaws adopted pursuant to 24 V.S.A. chapter 117, as the same may be amended from time to time, may be processed as a criminal or civil action in the manner provided by general law. (b) All penalties collected for the violation of an ordinance, regulation, or bylaw shall be paid over to the City, except for a surcharge that shall be set and retained by the court.
