Fire district Said Village is hereby constituted a fire district for the purpose of preventing the destructive consequences of fires, and the trustees thereof shall have all the powers and be subject to the same restrictions as prudential committees in fire districts in making contracts and expenditures for the preservation of property in said Village from loss or damage by fire.
