Sewers and drains; condemnation The Village may take the land of individuals and corporations on making compensation for the lands so taken; and the trustees shall proceed in the same manner as is prescribed by law for selectboard members in taking land for public highways and in awarding damages therefor; and the trustees shall make a return of their doings to the office of the Clerk of the Village.
