Fire district The Village is hereby constituted a fire district for the purpose of preventing the destructive consequences of fires, and the trustees shall have all the powers, and be subject to the same restrictions as prudential committees in fire districts, in making contracts and expenditures for the preservation of property in the Village from loss or damage by fire.
