Treasurer The Treasurer shall perform for the Village the same duties required by law respectively of a town treasurer and collector of town taxes and shall have the same powers, proceed in the same manner, be subject to the same liabilities, and give such bonds to the Village as the Board of Trustees may direct. A failure to give such bond within 10 days from their election or appointment will render such office vacant. (Amended 2015, No. M-13 (Adj. Sess.), § 2, eff. Feb. 24, 2016.)
