Mayor to administer oaths The Mayor shall have power to administer oaths in all cases proper for the administration of an oath before the City Council, and official oaths to the several officers of said City, when such oaths are required by law; and the President of the City Council shall have the like power, in all cases proper for the administration of an oath before the City Council.
