Certified copies of records to be made Said Chief Administrative Officer shall, on being tendered therefor the fees allowed town clerks under the law of this State for similar services, and to be accounted for and paid to the Treasury for City purposes, as provided in the second preceding section, make duly certified copies of said records, papers, and documents, and such copies so certified shall be legal evidence, of the same validity and effect as those of town clerks, in all courts and for all purposes.
