The Clerk shall call special meetings whenever a majority of the commissioners concur in requesting him or her so to do. All meetings of the Board of School Commissioners shall be open to the public except when an executive session is deemed advisable by a majority of the Board for discussion of appointments, disciplinary action, or termination of contracts of school personnel, and except when an executive session is deemed advisable by a majority of the Board for consultation with the Board’s attorney on legal matters or for communication of collective bargaining instructions to the duly appointed negotiator for the Board.
